During the summer the old steamship S/S Trafik, cruises in Lake Vättern.
They also have special tours like the jazz music tour "Hjo-Orleans".

The small town Hjo is a sight in it self. The center and the park from
the spa-period is well preserved. City-tours are arranged through the charming
and picturesque wooden town.The city got the prize " Europa Nostra"
in 1991 for its pious restoration. After the tour, visit the harbour and
try smoked lavaret.
14 km south-east Tidaholm is Hökensås Natur Reserve. It is a 100 km
long area alongside the lake Vättern. The rumour says it is a haunted area.
Besides that, it is a beautiful area with lots of lakes and an eldorado
for fishersmen and berry-pickers. The surroundings resemble deep forests
in Northern Sweden.
Ryfors
Close to Mullsjö is the small industrial community Ryfors. For a long
time it was deserted and empty but is now coming to life again. Smithy,
mill , arts and crafts are some of the activities that have restarted again.
The large park includes Ryfors Gammelskog, a nature reserve. The trunks
create an impressive pillared hall where an unusual amount of birds and
insects thrives.
