Adventures in Västergötland

Among the many exciting things you can do in Västergötland, adventure land, climbing, canoeing, horse-riding and survival courses are some examples.

Skara Sommarland (Skara Adventure land)

A paradise for children is the enormous Skara adventure land. An amusements park, a water park with water-chutes and beach volley courts, a motorpark with Go-cart and Motocross and several restaurants and cafes. Outside the park there is a campingground and a youth hostel.

Cliff-climbing in Mark

Try to climb on a vertical steep, in the safe hands of a skillful instructor. Test climbing for a day, or follow a two-day course with instruction in the techniques of cliff-climbing.

Torved's Trolley

Take the handle and start pumping but be sure you are two, otherwise it would be too heavy. The trolley-ride is 40 km between Gullspång and Torved. You pump the trolley there and back in a varying landscape. Pic-nic basket and accommodation are available.

Parachute jumping

In Karlsborg, the army paratroopers have their base. The oldest parachute jumping club in Sweden can also be found here where they arrange courses, tandem or single-jumps for tourists.
