Further east on the mainland the landscape is very hilly. In the north, you find farming tablelands, creeks and deep ravines. Almost half the province is covered by coniferous forest. Especially in the south and east, there are lots of large and dense forests. On the slopes of the plateau mountains it is also common with big deciduous woods and trees like maple, oak, lime tree, elm and ash tree.
