Sights and Attractions in Småland
Småland is known for its
lakes,
forests,
elk and stone walls - and plenty of them. There are roughly 5 000 lakes and
just as many islands. We have the sea, the coast, the lovely coastal islands
and plenty of untouched wilderness. Characteristic for Småland is also
the classic Småland cottage, painted red and trimmed neatly in white -
set in a natural landscape of birdsong and beauty. Here we have berry-picking,
canoeing, angling, bathing, shopping and entertainment. But above all , what we
Småländers most gladly offer is ourselves; children's author

Carl von Linné among others. If
you visit the Kingdom of Crystal you will meet world famous glass artists.
