Bathing in Småland

The Baltic Sea in the east, the lake Vättern in the north-west and all the small lakes in between. When the sun shines and the children and their parents long for a bathe, they are not far from a lake or a swimming baths. Most towns have swimming baths or swimming pools but it is the vast sea or a small lake, surrounded by forest, that is most tempting in the summer. There are many temptations in Småland. It is possible to bathe in almost all lakes but the best way to get to know the best bathing beaches is to contact the local tourist office.
