Welcome to Skåne, the southernmost province in Sweden, on the southern tip of the Scandinavian peninsula! Skåne, or Scania, is the province with fantastic possibilities.It will give you an unforgettable visit. The Scanian people are well-known in Sweden for their friendly way, their love of good food and their joyful attitude to life. This presentation is meant to give you an easy way to find the very best of Skåne. Since Skåne is a well-inhabited province it is hard to choose between places to visit. For instance you can choose between around 55 golf courses, an uncountable number of churches and castles, The same goes for restaurants and old inns.There are a very large variety of events during the summer, from chamber music to big feasts and all is framed by a beautiful nature, where you will find a lot of out-doors activities. The history of Skåne is partly very violent and partly very peaceful. It is also partly Swedish history and partly Danish history. Its history has of course left many remains to visit.
