Spettekaka is a traditional Skåne sweet cake, made of hundreds of eggs and is not found in other parts of Sweden. There is also a very special goose feast in autumn time called Mårten Gås. The food is a three course dinner which begins with a svartsoppa (black-giblet soup) made of the blood of the geese and it tastes a bit like a ginger cake soup and is followed by the roasted goose, potatoes and brusselsprouts. The meal ends with a traditional apple cake with vanilla sauce. Another very traditional feast is the ålagille (eel feast) where you are served various dishes of eel.
