Skåne is wellknown for its food and the people who enjoy life. June

Vinfestival at Kronovalls slott
All June, July and August. A wine festival at Kronovalls slott close to Tomelilla; one of the few wine producers in Sweden. For information call 0417-197 00.

Fredriksdalsteatern
The very famous open-air theatre at Fredriksdal (in Helsingborg) performs a play, normally a comedy, all summer long.


July

Falsterbo Horse Show
Beginning of July. An international horse show with competitors from all over the world.

Swedish Open in Båstad
Mid July. An international tennis contest, very popular to visit. For information 0200-22 42 25.
