Göta Kanal

On the channel you can travel from the entrance in the Baltic Sea, through the countryside of Östergötland and the water of Vättern to the biggest lake of Sweden, Vänern. The total length of the channel is 190 km and it includes 58 locks.

Himmelstalunds hällristingar

The rock-carvings made thousands of years ago, during the Bronze Age still fascinate their visitors. They figure religious and fertility symbols and the area is 1 km south-west of Norrköping by the European highway, E4.

Arbetets museum (The museum of Labour)

In an old building that earlier was a cotton mill, exhibitions about labour and working conditions through the ages are hosted. As Norrköping is an industrial town with long traditions there are many interesting items to see, e.g. machinery used in the textile-industry.
