A reconstructed ancient castle.Inside the ring wall there are reconstructed
houses telling you the way of life during the Iron Age and the Middle Ages.
All is rebuilded with ancient methods and material. The village dates
back to 400 AD. Archaeologists guide tourists round, giving well-informed
information on the ancient village and its inhabitants.
Carl X Gustafs mur
This impressive wall was built in the early 19th century and goes from
one coast to the other. It was built to keep the deer in the most southern
part of the island.
At the southern tip of Öland. During the summer, you can see thousands
of birds migrating.
