Skelleteå Kyrkstad (Skellefteå Church town) Bonnstan

There are 116 church cabins with over 400 rooms in Bonnstan. These houses were built for people who could only manage to get to town during high church holidays. On these occasions they needed somewhere to live since to travel back and forth on the same day was impossible.

Bergrum (The Mountainroom) Boliden, Skellefteå

A mining and mineral museum located near Sweden's only gold mine. The museum has a large exhibition area and contains a fact/reference library, café, reception with souvenirs. In the cellar are workshops with equipment for stone-polishing. You can also take a multi-media tour of the mine.

Bjuröklubb Nature Reserve, Skellefteå

Three areas with remains from the Iron Age and Middle Age. On Grundskataräftan you can see more than 40 excavations of houses typical for the coastal area during the Iron Age. The remains of a Middle Age harbor are also found here.
