Kukkolaforsen (Kukkola Falls),
Haparanda Fish the way it was
done in the 12th century, with a hand-held net! In Kukkola you walk out on a
small pier and with the help of a net with a 6m long handle. Afterwards the
fish are grilled in the special Kukkola way. There is a fish museum and a
salmon farm both of which are well worth a visit.

Storforsen (Stor Falls), Älvsbyn One of Norrbotten's
most often visited sites. Europe's highest free fall rushes from the mountain
with a drop of 82m. Near the falls is "Death Falls" great water-pots, created
when the rushing water over hundreds of years erodes the underlying stones.
