The Garrison Museum and Fort Svedje, Boden
On top of Mt. Svedje with a view over the military town of Boden lies
Fort Svedje. The Garrison museum has a unique collection of military uniforms
as well as a collection of older weapons and artillery. Guided tour are
available.

Kyrkbyn i Gammelstad (Church town in Gammelstad), Luleå
When you visit Luleå, you
must see Gammelstad. The church is dated back to the 14th century and around
it are more than 450 church cabins and 30 small farms. These premises were
used by the congregation in the old days when they came to town during
church holidays. The cabins are still in use today. The open-air museum
Hägnan is also in the area. If you are interested in trying the local food
at its best, then a meal at Margareta's Wärdshus is a must. Be sure to
make reservations.

Norrbottens Museum, Luleå
Located in Hermelins Park, the Norrbotten Museum contains a large collection
of Lapplander objects. The history and culture of Norrbotten is told in
exhibitions.
