Attractions
Church place for Laplanders since the 17th century later even for Swedish
pioneers. Unique church town buildings with over a 100 Lapphuts, storehouses
and lodgings in natural mountain and forest terrain.

A natural reserve with large stones and caves.
St Anna's Underground Church, Kristineberg
An ecumenical church located 90m underground in a mine. The mine is
still in use. Church services are held on Sundays. Guided tours of the
mine are available. Café.
A zoo with Scandinavian animals as a specialty. Sweden' only zoo with
musk-oxen and a moose farm. Natural pools with otter, beaver and seals.
There is also a unique currentpool where fish from the whole of Lapland
are shown.
Vindelfjällets Nature reserve
Europe's largest nature reserve with a varied wildlife. The forest,
consisting mostly of pine, is a part of the Swedish national heritage.
Some of the trees are 500 years old.
