In the northern provinces there is a way to fish that suits all kinds of fishermen, from the experienced fishermen looking for new challenges to the beginner just out for the day. From flyfishing to jiging. In the north you are never far from a good fishing spot. All you need is fishing equipment and a fishing license. You can stand by the shoreline of Gulf of Bothnia and casting for pikes, perch, lavaret or something else or try to catch a salmon in the big rivers. Go interior and fish in the lakes and streams. There are a multitude of trouts, graylings, chars, pikes, perchs, lavarets and other kind of white-fish. In the mountains, go into the wilderness and be of your own when following and fishing a stream or lure a char in a lake. Take a helicopter or an aeroplane to fishing areas where men seldom are. You can bring a tent and go fishing by yourself or go to one of the fishingcamps. Fishing-tours are available as well as air-craft transportation. You have it all when it comes to fishing.
