Canoeing/Rafting in Norrbotten, Lappland and Västerbotten


The few unregulated rivers left in Sweden are in the northern provinces. So if you enjoy paddling calmly along a stream or fighting it out in the rapids in giant rubber rafts, this is the place to come. The local tourist office has information on canoe renting as well as organized rafting parties.

Olos Canoesafari

Lainio Hembygdsgård

Lainio Hembygdsgård is located along the Lainio River and is the oldest village in Kiruna municipality. Here you can enjoy the view, have some rafting or a meal and hire a canoe for a quiet paddling along the river.
