South (Härjedalen)
Härjedalen is the province with the highest tree-line, the highest
village and the highest road in Sweden. Here lies also the most southern
glacier in Sweden. The most common animal in the province is the reindeer.
Härjedalen has one inhabitant per square kilometre.
Krankenmårten hills
The Krankenmårten hills are one of Sweden's most famous gravemounds
from the time between the Stone Age and the Iron Age.
Leif Wikner in Persåsen
Visit the artisan Leif Wikner in Persåsen, there is 600 sq.metres of
exhibition area with woodwork, handicraft and art. There are also possibilities
to stay overnight in the cabins or in the hotel.

At the tourist agency in Hede you can buy moose droppings in small jars,
or ear-rings made of varnished moose droppings.
