Mountain climbing in Järvsö

10 km south of Järvsö, there is one of the finest rock climbing cliffs in central Sweden - Mörkberget. About 70 trails of varying difficulty.

Vallstigen

In the surroundings of Nordanstig you can find a 45 kilometre long trail named Vallstigen. Here you walk along old paths, passing some dozen mountain farms, several points from which there are wide views of the surrounding countryside and some fine lakes for swimming.

Ljusnanleden (the Ljusnan trail)

The Ljusnan trail is a 56 km long trail which starts at Ljusdal Campsite and follows ancient paths along the north bank of the Ljusnan.

Flottarstigen (the Floaters' trail)

This trail starts from Lassekrog and ends up in Färila.Ljusdal on the southern bank.

Kajvallsleden

This trail is 43 km long and links Ljusnanleden in Nore with Sjuvallsleden in Delsbo. There are many fine picnic sites along this trail.

Finnmarksleden

Finnmarksleden is about 30 km long. The trail starts in the Folklore Centre and ends in Fågelsjö. Wind shelters, picnic areas, fishing.
