Events and Festivities in Hälsingland

Since Hälsingland beeing a major site of the folk music in Sweden there are a lot of meetings when musicians are gathering and play to enjoyment and for dancing. There are of course other events and festivals to take part in when you want to enjoy yourself and meet other people. Below are listed a few of the annual events that are taking place in Hälsingland. Festivity for all of the family.Music and international food. Hudiksvall.

Delsbostämman

A meeting of fiddlers and other musicians.At the old folk museums, Delsbo.To some it is the most genuine folk music meeting.The first sunday in July every year.

Hälsingehambon

A folk dance show starting at Hårga, then passing Bollnäs and Arbrå.The final of the dance contest at Järvsö. A lot of other events during the contest. The second saturday in july every year.

Music party

The yearly big festival in Ljusdal for the whole family. A lots of entertainments, music, festivities and other events.

The fermented Baltic herring Festival, Söderhamn

Eating fermented Baltic herring (yum-yum), performances and the herring race.
