Sights and Attractions in Halland: Handicraft/Manufacture

Brunnsbacka sågkvarn

North of Unnaryd, next to a small stream which runs into Kroksjön, you can see Halland's finest old sawmill built in the 18th century. The mill is situated in idyllic surroundings.

Lerkil

Old fishing village as well as a popular beach. Deep-sea fishing trips depart regularly for Kattegatt where the fishing is plentiful.

Kalvhultsstugan

"Ryggåsstuga" in the Kungsbacka forest. It is one of the oldest preserved houses in Halland and it is now refurnished as a museum. Nearby, there is a carpenter's cottage.

Gottskär

Town on the Onsala peninsula in the Kungsbacka municipality. Popular summer community with fishing and bathing. Gottskär is perhaps most famous for its "Dykcentrum" (diving centre), which provides courses in diving and organises excursions to wrecks off the coast.
