RestaurantsSome people are so fond of the food and the culinary art that is practised in Halland, that they gladly take a trip here just to eat. The reason may be the inns , which still preserve the generous tradition of Danish times. Chefs from Halland consistently reach the finals of the annual " Chef of the Year" competition. No other province has such a record. The main reason to Halland´s culinary fame is its specialities based on the high quality of the raw materials. The most important of these is the salmon, now a symbol of Halland.
