Bathing in Dalarna

The first that comes to ones mind when one think of bathing is the Siljan lake. The long shallow sandy bathing beaches are made for bathing. The lake Siljan is large but yet suitable for children and all towns and villages around Siljan have a bathing beach of their own. There are however lots of other lakes and bathing places everywhere in Dalarna. Most towns have also swimming baths or swimming pools, so you are never far from a nice bathing place. Above all it is easy to find a lake if you want to go for a swim and the local tourist offices gladly assist you if you want more information.
