Sailing in Bohuslän

The sea has been the bread and butter for a long time in Bohuslän. Most people on the coast have their own small boat to go fishing. The yachts came into the picture early, both for racing and for recreation - the health resorts in the 19th century used them too. With a strong sailing tradition, the sailing schools are many and excellent. Some of them are for children only but please check when you book, which you should do early. The tourist offices will gladly assist you if needed.
