Biking in Bohuslän

Cykelleden

There is a marked bike track in Bohuslän, called Cykelleden. The whole track covers a distance of 290 km, from Svinesund at the Norwegian border to Gothenburg. Maps are availible at any of the tourist offices.

Cycle rental is availible in the Stenungssund, Orust, Uddevalla, Tanum, Strömstad and the Koster Islands areas. Please contact the local tourist offices for further details.

Bike packages

This is an alternative instead of doing it all on your own. Through Bohus-Turist in Uddevalla you book a package including a push bike and accomodation. Choose between the north (250 km/5 days) and the south (200 km/5 days) track or the whole of Bohuslän in 7 days. You can also choose Strömstad as your base, doing day excursions, including to Norway.
