Eriksbergs Wildlife Reserve

Eriksberg is one of the largest wildlife reserves in the world - 10 square kilometres. Here you can see moose, wapiti, deer, mufflon and the European buffalo - the Visent. In a special area there is also wild boar.
The 17th century farm hosts a café, museum and smaller exhibitions and a mini-zoo for the children.

The Giant Pots in Tararp - Jättegrytorna i Tararp

Six major pots and several smaller ones are known to exist in this area. The pots are huge smooth holes in the rocks and were created at the end of the Ice Age when the mainland ice melted 11 000 years ago. Rapid flowing water has, together with gravel and sand, polished the pots out of the rocks. Old myths say that giants used to boil their porridge in these giant pots.

The ABU Museum at Svängsta

The ABU Museum is a unique factory museum, where the visitor can see how production started from the making of pocketwatches to world-class fishing rods. Reservations can be made for guided tours.

The Sölvesborg Castle

Ruins from the Sölvesborg Castle, dated from the 14th century, north of downtown Sölvesborg. The natural surrounding is beautiful and it is a nice area for a picnic especially by the Sölvesborg Bay.
