Ulrika KnapeUlrika Knape is one of the most renowned Swedish female divers ever. She is the youngest gold-medalist ever in the Olympic Games. She was only 17 years of age when she won the gold medal in high dive, and silver in the spring-board diving at the Olympic games in 1972. She also won gold in high dive as well as silver in the spring-board in the World Championships in 1973. She won two gold medals in the European Championships in 1974. In addition, she won the silver medal in high diving at the Olympic games in 1976. After her years as a contesting swim diver, Ulrika Knape continued her career as an instructor in swim diving, and can nowadays be seen training youngsters in Karlskoga and is known throughout the world for her outstanding swim diving techniques.
