Gothenburg Horse Show, in Gothenburg

Annually held in March, in Göteborg. The Göteborg Horse Show, as well as a variety of side-shows, horse-dance, horse-promenade, and the like.

Gothia-Cup in Gothenburg

Football for all FIFA-associations. The teams are grouped in 4-5 teams where all the teams meet each other. The two first teams qualifies for A series. The teams that ends up as no. 3 meet each other in a B-series. For the teams that do not qualify coaching, matches will be arranged. FIFA rules will be applied, or where this is not appropriate the rules established by the Swedish Football Association will be utilised. Both the girls and the boys teams are ordered in age groups from 12 to 17 years of age.

Round Gotland Race

A sail-boat race starting, as well as finishing, in the outer archipelago of Stockholm, rounding the island of Gotland and then back to Sandhamn. The boat entering the race must have insurance, and the contestants must have the obligatory IYRU-competence.

Göteborgs Varvet, Göteborg

Lidingö-loppet, Lidingö

For youngsters there is a race on the Saturday known as the Lilla Lidingö-loppet, i.e., the 'little race.' The contestants are differentiated in sex and age groups from 7 years of age, to fifteen years of age, and the distances vary accordingly. Lidingö-loppet 30 kilometres, is for both men and women, and for all ages, the contestants are ranked into varying classes.

Marstrand's International Swedish Match Cup, Marstrand.

July. This is the largest sailing race in Sweden. The distinction of this race can be grasped as the world's most renowned sailors will partake in this glorious race.

O-Ringen

This is a cross-country-running competition where both sexes and all ages are welcome. However, one should be a member in a cross-country club in order to participate.

Sandhamn Open

This is a track sailing contest, for boats of the type RM for 6mR and Carrera. The boat entering the race must have insurance, and the contestants must have the obligatory IYRU-competence.

Tjej-Milen, Stockholm

, Sälen-Mora

Cross country skiing 85 km towards the Norwegian border, in remembrance of when men from Dalarna were skiing in back of the future king, Gustav Vasa, finally catching up with him they pleaded him to return with them as their leader. The starting place is in Sälen and the finish line is in Mora.

Vättern-Rundan

A bicycle race of 300 kilometres, for men as well as women (from eighteen years and older), around the second largest lake (Vättern) in Sweden. The nature varies greatly, but, for the most part, you will be able to see the lake. There is also the possibility for women to take the female race, Tjej-Vättern , a race of 90 kilometres. This race is held one week before the big race. The address to enrol is the same as for the big race.
