You can search in two ways. Either (1) a full text search through the 850 documents of this site, or (2) a search in the large database of an external system - Navigo.

1. Site search
This is the way to go if you are looking for common knowledge, for example facts on Swedish personalities or history or extensive descriptions of sights throughout the country. Enter the word or words you are looking for or select a town or a province, and then press Go.

Helpful hints: Avoid capital letters. Don't put phrases between quotation marks,
select "match all terms" in the listbox instead. Click here for help with funny Swedish letters..

2. Database search

The Navigo database contains information about things to see and do, lodging and food, but all replies will be in Swedish. Many will have links to homepages with more information ("Hemsida"), which may be available also in English. These will be displayed first. Hit the Back Key to get back here.

Start by selecting a category. In See & Do you will find sights and things to do. Lodging contains hotels, camping sites, youth-hostels etc. from all over Sweden. In Food you will find restaurants, cafés, bars, pizza restaurants and many other eating places.

You should limit your search geographically to reduce the number of hits in the database. Enter the name of a town or select a district or a province.

You can not Search for everything everywhere. Please select an category and/or a geographical area..
